One of the highlights of the day was playing the exciting game of Kubb, which added an element of challenge and excitement to our team-building activities.
Unleashing Our Competitive Spirits:
As the day unfolded, we divided ourselves into two teams, ready to unleash our competitive spirits on the Kubb battlefield. Kubb, also known as “Viking chess,” is a traditional Swedish game involving wooden blocks and sticks. Our goal was to knock down our opponents’ wooden blocks by throwing sticks at them, all while strategising and protecting our own blocks. The tension and excitement were palpable as we prepared to engage in friendly battles of skill and tactics.
What made Kubb truly special is that the game is not only fun, but it also promotes teamwork and collaboration. Communication, trust, and coordination were essential factors for success. We quickly realised that working together as a team was crucial to achieve victory. As the game progressed, we found ourselves bonding, learning about each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and developing a deeper sense of camaraderie.
